Attempting to capture the round section of this otherwise flat building. Very earthy colors for a large, downtown building.

These windows were interesting, but needed a different look. So I stood right below them and shot upward.

I walk this almost daily to catch the bus and really don't pay much attention. I turned around one day and noticed this interesting architectural view. Pictures are all around, just have to slow down and pay attention.

Old churches always have interesting architecture. The large wooden, red doors with the wrought iron hinges set against the lighter stucco frame is an eye catching contrast. The church wasn't open at this time so I'll have to come back and check out the inside.

At first look this is just a granite ball, but a little history. The right side of the ball is reflecting the original courthouse newly restored. On the left (a bit darker) is the reflection of the current courthouse. Both old and new meet in this reflection.

Usually shooting directly into the sun is not good, unless of course you want a silhouette. The statue of the cowboy with rope in hand worked great for this type of shot.
