We spent several hours waiting for the clouds to clear the peak of Mt. St. Helens. The clouds never cleared, but it gave us plenty of time to expierence the surrounding areas. The hike up Mt.St Helens, is on my to ever growing to do list:)
The expansive Arizona plains and thunder sky almost meet in this late afternoon picture. Standing here, I felt I could see to the end of the Earth.
The brightly colored rainbow lights up the top of hill as if to say "look here" for the pot of gold. Just to the left, out of the frame, are the ruins of an ancient homestead. I wonder how many rainbows the ancient people enjoyed from this same spot?
