The giant metal artwork place atop a fountain is designed to be like a butterfly. I wanted to give it scale and prominence so I captured from below.

This is what the inside of a lighthouse lens looks like. The center is a 1000 watt bulb (used to be fueled by oil) and the Fresnel lens disperses the light. Each light house has it's own distinct series of flashes. As the housing rotates and the lens refract the light, the series is created.
