This is part of the Bear Wallow Trail near Hendersonville, N.C. This is one of the final approaches of an easy 3 mile ascent. I mean easy as in this is probably the steepest part. Once on top, there is a huge (acres and acres) of a flat meadow. From the top you can see the Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas.
This swinging bridge crossed a ravine with a small creek. It didn't swing that much but the other side of the dense forest was a bit spooky.
When you think of beach, you think of smooth pristine sand. On the treasure coast in Florida, we have lots of rocks and diversity. It's called the Treasure Coast because of the numerous shipwrecks that spilled their gold way back when.
