The bright orange and red leaves of this unknown plant caught my eye while looking for flowers.
We arrived at the trail at 4pm and it was snowing heavily. Undeterred, we grabbed our winter gear and headed out for a short hike. The falling snow created spectactular scenery such as this. Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, CO
