We took a snowy hike beginning at 4:00pm and found this waterfall. That late in the afternoon, there was very few people and we could appreciate nature without much interruption.
This interesting bird swung by for a visit on one of our stops. I'm not sure what it is, but the blue & black color is very striking.
Mid September and already fair amounts of snowfall. This time of the year is perfect because the snow highlights the texture of the mountains rather than just covering it up. Every time I've been here, it's been windy so if you go dress warm.
