I wanted a different perspective on this guy so I moved lower.. He was as inquisitive about me as I was about him. Interesting what you see when take a few minutes to stop and look around.

Bats are always interesting creatures & these fruit bats are no exception. This is a close up shot, but they are pretty good size, probably like a small cat. Bats can eat a large amount of mosquitos, which is good for those of us who deal with mosquitos regularly. If you don't see bats (look for them at dusk), you can put up a bat house and possbily attract them.
