We were on a photoshoot one evening and I wanted something different than a typical sunset.

I got caught in this rain storm so I pulled under the bridge to hopefully walk around without getting wet. The wind was blowing the rain horizontally so the only dry place was to the right of the main piling shown. The water you see pouring out is draining from the road surface above.

I camped near this stream for two weeks. It was totally refreshing on all levels.

I placed my camera right above the incoming waves and fired away. One of the incoming waves gave part of my camera a bath, but I wiped it off and kept shooting.

The final approach to Delicate Arch. I like how this conveys it's just you and the great outdoors. Realistically, around the corner was about 40 people waiting to photograph Delicate Arch. Printing tip: I printed this in 11x14 which requires a portion to be cropped. I cropped part of the right hand rocks and kept the expansive view. In a large print it's like you're there.
