Through the Lens
We were on a photoshoot one evening and I wanted something different than a typical sunset.
The final approach to Delicate Arch. I like how this conveys it's just you and the great outdoors. Realistically, around the corner was about 40 people waiting to photograph Delicate Arch.
Printing tip:
I printed this in 11x14 which requires a portion to be cropped. I cropped part of the right hand rocks and kept the expansive view.
In a large print it's like you're there.
Walking the narrow boardwalk over the water with the tall trees overhead is very peaceful.
This is part of the Cypress Swamp trail at Highlands Hammock state park in Sebring, FL.
As a side note; I've printed this in 11x14 several times and it looks like you could just walk into the picture.

We arrived at the trail at 4pm and it was snowing heavily. Undeterred, we grabbed our winter gear and headed out for a short hike. The falling snow created spectactular scenery such as this.

This is one of my favorite pictures from my favorite treks. We were with a small guided group hiking the Grand Canyon from rim to rim.
While our leaders took care of everything, they gave us the best gift of all; the opportunity to peacefully experience the Grand Canyon. Just us and the canyon.....plenty of time to think & soak up the magnificent scenery.
Experiencing the Grand Canyon for 4 straight days was incredible and life changing. I recommend it to everyone!
